Web Developer

Omaha, NE


CSS Staffing, based in Omaha, NE, has an open position with a large client for a Web Developer in Omaha, NE

 

The successful candidate will possess the following skills:

·        Excellent communication and organizational skills, including tact and diplomacy appropriate for interaction with all members of the project team and the ability to communicate effectively with staff of varying technical and context-area expertise, including experience in preparing technical documentation.

·        Demonstrated ability to develop high-quality websites and digital media

·        Ability to rapidly learn and use new technology and techniques

·        Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines amid shifting priorities

·        Strong knowledge of web development related languages and skill sets:

o   C# .NET 4.0, CSS, and JavaScript/JQuery

o   Latest version MVC

o   Visual Studio 2010

o   LINQ

·        Knowledge of techniques and skill sets:

o   Web standards

o   Agile/Scrum experience

o   Understanding of User Experience and Interaction Design Principles

·        Nice to have skill sets and experience:

o   BizTalk

o   SSIS

o   Solid web design skills

 

Core Responsibilities:

·                    Provide creative consulting

·                    Communicate and work effectively with a variety of people

·                    Communicate with project team(s) throughout all phases of development

·                    Prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks/projects

·                    Adhere to deadlines

·                    Adapt visual designs into dynamic web sites and/or templates

·                    Collect and convert content into usable formats

·                    Layout and organize pages and other content

·                    Create, document, and follow web standards and best practices

  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Assignment length: One-90 day contract and one 6 – 12 month contract
