Technical Lead

Omaha, NE


CSS Staffing, based in Omaha, NE, has an open position with a large local client for a Technical Lead.

 

The successful candidate will possess the following skills:

  • 5+ years application development experience as a lead, with strong leadership skills
  • Strong Java and SQL skills
  • Preferred experience in classification and indexing technologies supported by OCR
  • Preferred experience with imaging and workflow systems, including document capture, storage, and search/retrieve
  • Experience integrating 3rd party components into an overall solution
  • Experience working on medium to large projects involving processes and procedures
  • Participation in at least two complete software development life cycle implementations
  • Ability to schedule and coordinate tasks across groups, prioritizing without management direction
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate to all layers of stakeholders, including Senior Management
  • Experience leading design sessions
  • Strong organizational, planning and management skills
  • Proactive with the ability to communicate early and consistently and be responsive to issues

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Senior Project Team (Business Lead, Senior BA, Lead QA, and PM) to accomplish goals and help translate business needs into technical requirements
  • Responsible for development of plan and approach for all company development work, including migration/conversion of data from Filenet to AWD (Automated Work Distributor), Caseworker/AWD integration, and AWD integration with other company systems (UND, etc.)
  • Provide technical leadership and direction to the project team and the developers, including managing the completion of all development work
  • Participate and document technical requirements and design for specific integration work
  • Responsible for interfacing with the Vendor Technical Lead and understanding the AWD development work being done by vendor.
  • Participate in reviews to validate business functions and solutions
  • Perform minimal coding in support of integration work (estimated to be 10% of overall work)
