The successful candidate will possess the following skills:
The successful candidate will possess the following skills:
• Heavy CPE (voice & data) experience; certifications if possible (Avaya, Siemens, Mitel, Cisco - not sales certification), as well as voice/data network engineering experience.
• Certifications with Avaya, Mitel are key.
• Certification with Siemens HiPath strongly desired.
• ADTRAN experience highly desired.
• Candidate will have demonstrated success engineering solutions utilizing multiple manufactures product sets, including Nortel, Cisco, 3Com, Adtran, and Mitel.
• Provide post-sales support on projects as needed.
• Strong customer facing skills are required as this position will be involved in customer presentations.
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Strong communication skills - verbal and written -interpersonal skills
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Leadership skills
• Strong PC skills
• Knowledge of wireline network - voice and data
• Understanding of TCP/IP and IP routing
• Understanding of LAN/WAN fundamentals
• Experience desired with Nortel PBX
• Experience desired with Cisco
• Experience desired with VoIP/Data products
• Experience desired with Mitel Data products
• College degree in Engineering or a related field and 2-4 years professional level experience; or 6+ years professional level related Engineering/Technical experience
Desired Certificates
• Nortel/Cisco/3Com/Adtran/Mitel
