IT Senior Business Analyst

Lincoln, NE


CSS Staffing, based in Omaha, NE, has an open position with a large client in Lincoln, NE for an IT Senior Business Analyst

 

The successful candidate will possess the following skills:

  • 5 years of experience with banking/accounting/financial processing
  • 2 years of experience in Software Development; specifically defining business requirements and testing
  • 1  year of experience with MS office suite; Word, Excel, Visio

 

Preferred Skills:

  • 5 years of experience in Child Support Enforcement, with emphasis in the financial processes
  • Knowledge of Child Support Enforcement activities; i.e. locating non-custodial parents, establishing paternity and support obligations, enforcing support orders, and gathering case information
  • Good organizational and time-management techniques and strong verbal and written communication skills.

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Participate in development of requirement specification documents, with responsibility to facilitate JAD sessions
  • Document business requirements and objectives for initiating software modification with functional work flows
  • Review and make recommendation to management regarding the solutions proposed by programming staff for system changes/enhancements
  • Review system design documents and revalidate previously defined business processes
  • Investigate and provide problem resolution for reported issues and concerns
  • Define acceptance test criteria, based on requirement and design documentation

Testing responsibilities will include:

  • Development of test scenarios, test plans and test scripts
  • Developing test conditions and test data
  • Execution of acceptance test
  • Analysis of the results of the test
  • Documenting the results and findings
